ABOUT KRIS FITZ
Kris "Fitz"gerald is an American film editor. His work includes Transformers: Prime (2010)*, The Eastsiders (2012)**, Lost In Oz (2016)*, Bob’s Burgers (2017)*, Central Park (2020), and The Bob’s Burgers Movie (2022).
Kris Fitzgerald was born in Utah. He attended Southern Utah University, obtaining his bachelor's degree in 2000 and his master's in Directing from the University of Hawaii in 2007. His obsession with film editing started in Los Angeles after Fitzgerald began his own production company, making commercials, music videos and trailers. He began as an animation editor on Transformers: Prime (2010). Other series followed including The Eastsiders(2012), which Fitzgerald received an Indie Series Awards nomination for editing.
Working under Mark Seymour as the Assistant Editor on Bob’s Burgers (2017), Fitzgerald began working with creator Loren Bouchard. Fitzgerald then moved onto the Apple TV+ series, Central Park (2020), as the Editor. In 2021 he took over as Editor of The Bob’s Burgers Movie (2022). He is now back on The Bob's Burgers Series.
